​CAROL  ROUTZEN

Ms. Routzen is a member of the Pueblo of Laguna.  Her education in teaching began at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, and she received her Bachelor's degree at the University of New Mexico.  Acomita Day School and Sky City Community School (now Haaku Community Academy) had the pleasure of receiving her educational services.  She was an educator for approximately 31 years, and retired in 2006.

St. Joseph Mission School is in great appreciation that Ms. Routzen chose to return to teaching.  She will be serving as the Kindergarten Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.
