Rebecca Ann Ray
Title I Coordinator
Mrs. Ray is a member of Laguna Pueblo and lives in the Village of Paguate with her husband of 40 years, Ronnie L. Ray. They have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Her parents are Tom W. and Margaret (Phillips) Dailey. She attended St. Joseph School, St. Mary’s High School and graduated from West Mesa High School. She completed her BS degree in Education in 1977 and continued on to receive her Master’s Degree in Education. She is certified with the State of NM to teach k-8. She sponsored the LES Cultural Dance Club that performed at Washington, DC, Las Vegas, NV, Colorado and numerous National Meetings & conferences. She worked for AISES organization, served on SACNES Education Committee; and attended MST Master Teacher of Math and Technology. She has served on the Laguna Department of Education Board and is presently on the Pueblo of Laguna Election Board. Mrs. Ray is beginning her second year at St. Joseph Mission School as a reading pull out teacher. She states “I have come full circle in education. I enjoy teaching at St. Joseph’s, the students are so grounded in their religion and respectful and eager to learn”.
